Abstract

School years play an important role in the academic, social and emotional development of gifted children. However, life in the preschool period is just as important. Parents has the biggest impact on the development of gifted children in preschool years. Parents who have a gifted child or think that their child is gifted have many questions in mind. In order to support their child during his or her development process in an appropriate way, it is essential for those parents to know the answers to some important questions about pre-identification, identification, and post-identification processes of giftedness. This article focused on certain crucial aspects that parents should consider while raising a gifted child.
