Çocuk Kas ve Sinir Hastalıklarında Görülen Engellilik Çeşitleri

Abstract

Physical disability, learning disability, different degrees of mental disability, visual and/or hearing disability, as well as emotional and behavioral problems, problems related to chronic diseases and multiple disabilities could be observed in pediatric neuromuscular diseases. The most common form of disability is physical disability which is the most seen disability form in every age group in our country, is also the most common form of disability in neuromuscular diseases. Due to the progressive nature of neuromuscular disorders observed in childhood and the coexistence of multiple disabilities, a multidisciplinary approach is of great importance in patient management.
