Abstract

Should we educate children on philosophy or thinking? If a philosophy or a thought education is to be given, when and how should this be given? Or what should we teach children before we teach philosophy? Is it possible to create a child philosophy education scheme? In fact, is it possible to ask, “Do children need to learn philosophy?” In this article, these questions will be discussed in the light of “Children Philosophy”, “Childhood Philosophy” or “Philosophy for Children”. Our the other goal in this article is to familiarize the children with asking questions and discuss what we need to do to make them think. Therefore, in the light of the data of Developmental Psychology, the parallelism between child questions and philosophical questions will be noted.
